## Current State

- ✅ Repository created (sam/taskflow)
- ✅ Intake documented and approved
- ✅ Architecture phase complete (all 3 substages)
- 🔄 Ready to begin Frontend phase

## Key Decisions

**ADR-001: Single Page Application Architecture**
- React/Vue SPA with responsive design for desktop/mobile
- Consequences: Modern UX, JavaScript required, bundle size considerations

**ADR-002: REST API Backend**  
- JSON REST API with clean CRUD operations
- Consequences: Platform-agnostic, easy testing, multiple round trips

**ADR-003: PostgreSQL for Data Persistence**
- ACID transactions, referential integrity, mature tooling
- Consequences: Reliable data, admin overhead, relational model

**ADR-004: Admin-Controlled User Management**
- All accounts created by administrators, no self-registration
- Consequences: Controlled security, admin overhead, no public scale

## Risks & Dependencies

### Active Risks
- **Timeline Risk (Medium):** 8-week constraint for beta with 5 users may be tight depending on technical complexity revealed during architecture
- **Scope Risk (Low):** Well-defined scope with clear non-goals should prevent scope creep

### Dependencies
- Architecture must complete mockups before Frontend can begin
- User account creation method needs clarification during design phase
